Instead I kept getting Blue Screens ( BSOD ) just after the Windows 7 boot animation.Īt first I couldn't spot the problem because the installation of the Oculus drivers were done weeks ago and I didn't get any problems so far, but this was the first time booting without the extra Monitor.Īnyway since no drivers were "recently installed" it took me some time to realize that the drivers for the Intel Mobile HD 4600 and the Oculus Rift were conflicting in some way with each other. Yesterday while booting my Notebook without the external Monitor I couldn't boot at all into Windows. While I wait for my Oculus Dev Kit to arrive I went on with the installation of the Oculus Runtime ( oculus_runtime_rev_1_sdk_0.4.0_win ). When I'm at home I plug in an bigger external Monitor into the VGA Port and use that one because of obvious reasons. I'm running a Notebook with a 4th gen Intel i7 which includes an Intel 4600 HD Graphics Card.
